Local Data Only

All data collected by Lock-in is stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage.local API. No data is ever transmitted to external servers owned or operated by us.

Lock-in stores:

• Blocked sites list – Websites you choose to block
• Focus mode schedules – Your configured focus sessions
• Timer settings – Your preferred focus and break durations
• Strict mode passcode – Optional passcode to prevent disabling Lock-in

What Lock-in Accesses

To block distracting websites, Lock-in requires these Chrome permissions:

• All websites (<all_urls>) – To detect when you visit a blocked site
• Tabs and browsing activity – To check open tabs against your block list
• Web requests – To intercept and block attempts to load restricted sites
• Scripting – To show focus reminders on blocked pages
• Storage – To save your settings locally

Lock-in loads styling and icons from:

• Boxicons – via unpkg.com
• Materialize CSS – via cdnjs.cloudflare.com

These CDNs may log your IP address and browser information according to their own privacy policies:

No Sale of Personal Information

• Delete – Uninstalling Lock-in automatically removes all data

Lock-in is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through Lock-in, please contact us.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

If this policy is updated, the "Effective Date" at the top will be revised. Continued use of Lock-in after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
